Blog Hop (12)

cfb_meme_button

It’s time for another BLOG HOP! The Blog Hop is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely Jessica at Crazy-for-Books! For more information on The Blog Hop head over to her blog.

Question of the Week:

When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?

Well, when I write my reviews they are usually always after I read the book, unless there is a part of the book that I want to quote or remember and then I’ll write it down, but for the most part I like to think about the book for a while before writing a review for it. Though sometimes I’ll write the review a hour later or a week later. I’m very scattered about when I write them sometimes, but they get written!

Like you, I also don't usually write down notes except if I want to quote the book. Have an awesome weekend!

Hi, Caitlin! Just hopping by. Already a follower. :)

I also write after I finish a book. I usually take notes or put markings in the book because like you I tend to be a mess when writing. Haha! I always have the book beside me when writing as well.

Cheers!

I always wait to the end but take notes along the way when I have insight to the characters. I review on the book made me feel so the notes help alot so I don't forget anything.

HOP by and visit

Reading all of you guy's responses makes me feel the strong desire to take more notes as I read. I'm a negligent reader!!!

I have kind of the same approach--I like to have the whole book in my head when I start the review.

I also wait until I'm done the book before writing the review, but usually I have to write it soon after reading it or I start to forget things. Awesome that you can still write a review a week later!

I'm a new follower via the hop!

I, too, only take notes for reviews if it's something I want to remember, otherwise I just do it after I've finished the book!
