Review: This was my first Chloe Neill book and it may not be her best work, but I enjoyed the book. The beginning of the book was kind of slow for me, but i'm not one to give up on books to I fought through, and then discovered the plotline gold at the end of this written tunnel. We have our traditional vampire and demons in this new world, but we are not introduced to a new addition, Reapers. I don't want to give too much away, but we got some pretty cool powers coming from these characters.
And speaking of characters, my favorite in this book was Scout. She was funny, witty, and edgy. She'd be the kind of person i would want as a friend. Lily was a good story teller. The author did a good job at giving her a good personality and I found myself laughing out loud at some of the dialogue. If there is one thing you can do to get on my good side, it's make me laugh.
Over all I give it a: 3
